Roma’s Curva Sud announced yet another protest in the upcoming game against Inter as they blamed the club’s owners for not keeping their ‘promises’ to the fans.

The Giallorossi are going through a stormy start to the season, as the Friedkin family’s decision to sack coach and club legend Daniele De Rossi already ignited several protests, which are meant to continue when Roma host Inter at the Stadio Olimpico next Sunday.

In a statement published by lawyer Lorenzo Contucci on his social media profiles, the ultras claimed they’ll be leaving the Curva Sud empty for the opening 15 minutes of the match in protest towards the club’s management as they demand a ‘change of course’.

“In order to make our discontent even more evident due to the importance of the match, the Curva Sud will stay out for 15 minutes during Inter-Roma to protest against the management for not having accompanied their promises with facts,” the statement reads.

“Defamed flags, a crest never restored, general disorganisation, superficial merchandising, choice of inadequate people to represent Roma under all points of view, considering their non-knowledge of the city reality, of Roma’s history and the traditional values of Roma fans.

“Spending money is not enough to guide Roma, but it is necessary to create and represent a club in which every Roma fan can mirror himself and be proud of.

“Since this is not happening, Roma fans in all sections are urged to join the protest. Friedkin family, we demand a change of course.”
