Albert Gudmundsson is reportedly back on Roma’s radar.

After being linked with the Giallorossi throughout last season, the Icelandic attacking midfielder is said to be once again on the capital club’s radar.

Roma are currently seeking attacking reinforcements and in particular De Rossi’s team are prioritizing the addition of a midfielder with goal-scoring abilities who can get into the opponent’s penalty box.

Gudmundsson comes from a fantastic season – 14 goals and 7 assists in Serie A – and for this reason the competition is decidedly high.

The Icelandic player is very popular for his flexibility and eye for goal: he knows how to play both as a winger and as a false forward.

The price is high (30-35 million euros) but not exaggerated considering the value of the player.

At this moment in time, Corriere dello Sport reports that few teams have come close to Gudmundsson in recent weeks. The interest in him is currently not as high as it was a few months ago which could be favorable for Roma.

The Giallorossi are monitoring the player and may soon contact his entourage as Genoa have officially put him on the market.
