Roma make key positive contact for Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini | OneFootball

Serie A giants Roma are looking for a new manager and they will now be impacted by Gian Piero Gasperini’s sittuation at Atalanta as they have made positive contact for the Italian.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that new contact has been made between Roma and Gasperini and now, an agreement can be reached between the two parties.

Roma have offered a three-year deal to Gasperini and the La Dea manager has asked Atalanta for permission to speak to other clubs. That is why he has taken time to respond to Atalanta, when it comes his future as managger in Bergamo.

Roma are hoping that agreements are reached in the next few days and are growing optimistic about the move. Gasperini is now a favourite to become the club’s next manager, with rejections arriving from multiple other names in the last few days, with a move for Cesc Fabregas not taking off.
