Roma director flies out for crucial Sancho and George meetings | OneFootball

Roma director Frederic Massara is in London, where he’ll meet Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho and Chelsea winger Tyrique George, who remarkably share the same agent.

As Football Italia had reported today, the connection between the two players is enough to push Massara to fly out and have those meetings in person, hoping to resolve the situation one way or another.

While Massara had commented on Saturday that the deal with Sancho was effectively abandoned due to the lack of ‘motivation’ from the player, this might not be over yet.

Roma crunch time for Sancho

Coach Gian Piero Gasperini is still pushing for the Giallorossi to convince the England international, who has not said yes to Roma, but hasn’t said no either.

His delays are starting to irritate Roma staff, but they are going to try one more time in person with Massara to convince him to accept, knowing full well that Manchester United are just as eager to get him off their books and will push too.

Meanwhile, Massara also has a meeting planned with Chelsea for Tyrique George, who is a potential alternative in case Sancho continues to postpone the move.

George is only 19 years old and can play on the left, right or centre of a trident attack.

A product of the Chelsea youth academy, he has represented England at Under 16, Under 17, Under 18 and Under 19 levels.
