Roma continue talks for Jan Ziolkowski | OneFootball

Roma is increasingly close to strengthening their defense with the arrival of Jan Ziolkowski.

The Legia Warsaw center-back is indeed one step away from wearing the Giallorossi jersey: the financial agreement between the parties is around €6 million plus bonuses, a formula that meets the Polish club’s demands, according to Tuttosport.

However, Roma still have to overcome resistance from Legia, who intend to keep the defender at least until the second leg of the Conference League playoff against Hibernian, scheduled for Friday, August 28th.

This strategy would allow the Warsaw club to continue counting on their defensive leader in a key fixture of the European season.

Ziolkowski, for his part, has already expressed his desire to move to Roma, where he would be included in Gian Piero Gasperini’s coaching project.

The next few hours will be crucial in determining whether the deal can be closed immediately or whether it will be necessary to wait until Legia’s European commitments are concluded.
