Roma announce England training camp and friendlies against Aston Villa and Everton | OneFootball

Roma have announced their pre-season plans as friendly matches in Germany and France are followed by a week-long training camp in England where they will face off against Premier League clubs Everton and Aston Villa.

In a statement published on their official website, the club will resume training on the July 13. Their first pre-season friendly will see them play FC Kaiserslautern on July 26 before heading to France to face RC Lens on August 2.

Roma to train in England

After that, the Giallorossi, led by new head coach Gian Piero Gasperini, will spend a week training in England at the St. George’s Park training centre where the English national team train. During this week, Roma will play Premier League duo Aston Villa, on August 6, and Everton, on August 9.

The match against Everton will take place in the Merseyside club’s brand-new Hill Dickinson Stadium, after the Toffees departed their home at Goodison Park at the end of the season.
