Atlético Madrid and Spain centre-back Robin Le Normand has been out of action since September when he suffered a scary ‘traumatic brain injury’ in his side’s match against Real Madrid.
Now, over a month since the incident, Le Normand is making progress in his journey to get back to fitness for Los Colchoneros.
As per Cadena SER, Le Normand completed the first part of the training alongside his Atlético teammates on Wednesday, before heading off with his trainer for gym work.
This is a key milestone on the road to recovery for the 28-year-old, who was a key starter for both club and country before the injury occurred.
While it is still unknown when Le Normand might make his return to action for Atlético Madrid, many fans of the Madrid club and fans of Spanish football as a whole will be glad to see the defender making progress and will be hoping to see him back on the pitch soon.
