Despite his reinstatement in the squad, Nicola Zalewski’s future is still uncertain.

The Polish player’s contract expires in June 2025 and to date there is still no agreement for the renewal with Roma.

Earlier today, links with Fiorentina emerged as a possible destination already in the January market.

However, Il Messaggero reveals that, before Galatasaray’s offer arrived, the player’s entourage and the club were agreeing to a contract adjustment of 1 million euros per season.

The Turkish club’s offer therefore blocked the negotiations, with the parties returning to the negotiating table in recent days.
