Roma’s interest in soon-to-be sporting director Florent Ghisolfi reportedly dates back to the beginning of this calendar year.
It was then that former General Manager Tiago Pinto had announced his decision to leave the club.
As a result, Roma immediately began their search for Pinto’s replacement, soon landing in Ligue 1 where, among others, Florent Ghisolfi seemed to be the best fit for the Giallorossi.
According to Il Tempo, Ghisolfi had already been convinced of his future in the Italian capital since at least two months.
The French executive will join Roma as soon as Nice’s league campaign comes to an end.
