AC Milan have consistently looked to the future during the mercato so far, and they have made another signing with this in mind, according to reports.

Football is always moving forward, and this is why it is unwise for clubs to focus on the present when making additions during the mercato. For Milan, this case is strengthened by their investment into the Futuro project, and investing in young talent is pivotal to its success.

Of course, if the project had not been created, there would still be investment in young talents, but perhaps not to the same level.

This summer, Alex Jimenez is the biggest coup made for the Futuro, but he will be able to drift between the youth ranks and the first team due to Serie A’s registration rules. Additionally, Silvano Vos could join with a similar plan in mind.

Today, reports have suggested that there is a new arrival to the squad – Nicolo Turco from RB Salzburg. The 20-year-old was formerly part of the Juventus youth set-up, but he left for Austria last season.

According to reports from Calciomercato.com and Nicolo Schira (via Radio Rossonera) Milan have gotten the youngster on loan with the right to purchase for €2 million, and he will sign a contract until 2028.
