Report – Swizerland Star Not Pushing For Bayer Leverkusen Exit Despite Inter Milan Links | OneFootball

Granit Xhaka is reportedly not pushing to leave Bayer Leverkusen despite transfer links that have emerged with Inter Milan.

This according to German outlet Bild, via FCInterNews. They report that the 32-year-old will travel to Brazil for Leverkusen’s preseason training.

Earlier today, transfer links emerged between Inter Milan and Granit Xhaka.

Reportedly, the former Arsenal and Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder wants to leave.

And the Nerazzurri have apparently sensed an opportunity to sign the Swiss international for a low fee. Therefore, they are monitoring him as a possible replacement if Hakan Calhanoglu leaves.

According to German outlet Bild, though, Granit Xhaka is not actually pushing to leave Leverkusen.

On the contrary, the 32-year-old is ready to turn up to preseason training.

Bild report that Xhaka is in good spirits, and hardly looking to force an exit from Leverkusen despite the departure of Xabi Alonso as coach.

On the other hand, reports Bild, if a sufficient offer arrives then Leverkusen would certainly consider a sale of the Swiss international.
