Report – Olympiacos In Talks To Convince Inter Milan Outcast To Join Before Deadline Day | OneFootball

Olympiacos are reportedly in talks with the representatives of Mehdi Taremi to convince the Inter Milan striker to join.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, via FCInterNews.

Olympiacos have been pushing to try and sign Inter striker Mehdi Taremi before the end of the summer transfer window.

The Greek giants are far from the only team to show an interest in Taremi this summer.

Leeds United and Fulham have shown an interest in bringing the 33-year-old to the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Ligue 1 side Lille have also come forward. As have Serie A new boys Sassuolo.

Botafogo and Flamengo had already tried to bring Taremi to Brazil. However, the 33-year-old has made clear that he prefers to stay in Europe.

In the last week or so, all of PSV, Panathanaikos, Olympiacos, and Lyon have all made approaches to sign Taremi.

In the case of Olympiacos, the Athens-based club have already reached an agreement with Inter on a transfer.

However, Taremi himself has some reservations. Therefore, the Iranian international has been waiting and deciding whether or not to give his green light to the move.

According to SportItalia, Olympiacos are currently in talks with Taremi’s representatives.

The Greek club are trying to convince the former Porto striker to make the switch.
