Inter Milan outcast Mehdi Taremi has rejoined pre-season training at Appiano Gentile after experiencing frightening moments in his homeland.
According to Sky Sport via FCInterNews, the 33-year-old striker will undergo medical checks today.
However, he will return to training tomorrow.
Deemed surplus to requirements by Cristian Chivu, Taremi will not reunite with the first-team squad.
Instead, he will link up with Stefano Vecchi’s U23 team.

This move suggests Mehdi Taremi is on the verge of leaving the Nerazzurri toward the end of the summer.
Indeed, there’s no place for the Iranian center-forward at San Siro after the arrival of Ange-Yoan Bonny.
Therefore, Inter have placed the former Porto star on the market.
Despite generating plenty of interest across Europe, they’ve yet to receive offers for their wantaway striker.
Fulham and Leeds United had thought about bringing him to the Premier League. But they’ve never contacted Inter.
Meanwhile, Taremi has confirmed that he wants to stay in Europe’s traditional top-five leagues.
