Report – Inter Milan To Reignite Interest In €45M Rated Napoli Target If Dumfries Leaves | OneFootball

Inter Milan will reignite their interest in Bologna winger Dan Ndoye in the event that Denzel Dumfries leaves the club.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report the 24-year-old will cost €45 million, with Napoli also keen.

Inter Milan are considering the possibility that they could lose Denzel Dumfries this summer.

The Nerazzurri will not lose the Dutchman for free. He signed a contract extension last year.

However, that new deal includes a release clause of €25 million.

Moreover, Inter are aware that Dumfries is not altogether happy with the harsh words from Inter captain Lautaro Martinez earlier this week.

Then, there is the fact that Dumfries has changed his agent to Jorge Mendes. That could very well be a signal of intent to leave the club this summer.

In any event, the Gazzetta note, Barcelona are thinking about activating Dumfries’s release clause.

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter will dust off a transfer target from last summer in the event that Dumfries heads for the exit door.

The Nerazzurri have already signed Luis Henrique for the right flank this summer. However, clearly, the Brazilian cannot be the only player for the position.

Therefore, Inter would be thinking about Bologna winger Dan Ndoye.

Last summer, Inter reportedly scouted Ndoye at the Euros with Switzerland. They saw him as a potential option for the right-wingback position.

Therefore, the Bologna winger would become a priority option to replace Dumfries.

However, the Gazzetta note, Ndoye would not come cheap. Bologna want a fee of around €45 million for the Swiss international.

Meanwhile, Napoli are also very keen on signing Ndoye as they work to bolster their Serie A title-winning squad from last season.
