Inter Milan have reportedly turned down the idea of including Francesco Pio Esposito in a deal to sign Atalanta star Ademola Lookman.
According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, Atalanta’s request to get the 20-year-old in return fell on Inter’s deaf ears.
La Dea rejected Inter’s opening bid for Ademola Lookman.
Indeed, they considered a €40 million offer unacceptable given the Nigerian’s importance to the team.
However, they would green-light a €50m transfer.

With Inter unwilling to lift their offer, Atalanta hoped to take Francesco Pio Esposito as a counterpart.
Indeed, they put forward an alternative proposal involving the youngster moving to Bergamo along with €10 million in cash.
However, Cristian Chivu has already taken the former Spezia loanee off the market.
Furthermore, Inter’s stance on Esposito discouraged Napoli’s effort to sign the Italian prodigy.
The reigning Serie A champions had thought about offering €30m for the young gun.
But they decided against making contact with Inter after realizing the club had no intention of parting ways with Esposito.
