Inter Milan are eyeing up a move to sign out-of-contract midfielder Luca Fiordilino for their Under-23 team next season.
This according to Italian outlet FCInterNews. They note that the 29-year-old has terminated his contract with Triestina.
For the first time next season, Inter Milan will have an Under-23 team. The team will compete in Serie C, and have officially registered for the Italian third tier.
As with the Juventus Next Gen and AC Milan Futuro teams, the purpose of this team is to offer younger players a pathway into first team football.
However, there will also be a few older players to offer some senior experience. Both on the pitch, and behind the scenes, as the youngsters find their feet in the senior game.
