Report – Inter Milan Eye Hellas Verona Wingback As Potential Backup Option For Denzel Dumfries | OneFootball

Inter Milan have reportedly identified Hellas Verona wingback Jackson Tchatchoua as a potential backup option for Denzel Dumfries.

Per DAZN journalist Orazio Accomando via FCInter1908, the 23-year-old remains firmly in Inter’s sights.

Jackson Tchatchoua has been on Nerazzurri’s radar since the second half of last season.

However, the Serie A runners-up have never made a concrete step to bring the Cameroonian to San Siro.

Instead, they recently completed the signing of Luis Henrique from Olympique Marseille.

Henrique can operate on both flanks but is more comfortable playing on the left.

The same goes for Nicola Zalewski, whose loan move from Roma will soon become permanent.

Meanwhile, Matteo Darmian is the only senior alternative to Dumfries on the right.

Indeed, Yann Bisseck, who occasionally filled the void last term, could leave Serie A in the coming weeks.

Therefore, Inter need depth on the right wing, and Tchatchoua ticks all the boxes for the type of player they want to recruit.

Still only 23, he has experience in Serie A and boasts similar characteristics to Dumfries.
