Report – Inter Milan ‘Crazy’ About Chelsea & Brazil Star | OneFootball

Inter Milan are reportedly “crazy” about young Chelsea and Brazil central midfielder Andrey Santos.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, via FCInterNews. They report, however, that the Nerazzurri would only sign the 21-year-old in the event that they make a major sale in midfield.

Inter Milan held a number of meetings with agents and intermediaries yesterday. It was a busy day with the transfer window now right at its peak.

And according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, one of the agents at the Nerazzurri’s headquarters was Giuliano Bertolucci.

According to SportItalia, one of the players who Bertolucci represents that Inter made an inquiry about is Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos.

The Brazilian spent last season on loan with Strasbourg in Ligue 1.

And Inter are keeping tabs on Santos. Particularly considering his age, the 21-year-old is a player the Nerazzurri see as a prospect for the future.

According to SportItalia, Inter Milan Sporting Director Piero Ausilio is “crazy” about Andrey Santos.

Therefore, the Nerazzurri have seriously sounded out a move for the Chelsea midfielder in yesterday’s meeting.

However, the broadcaster reports, Bertolucci made clear to Inter that the Blues are not keen to sell Santos. Therefore, he would cost a significant fee.

As such, SportItalia report, Inter would only consider Santos as a target in the event that they made a big sale in midfield.

Had a player like Hakan Calhanoglu left this summer. The Brazilian may have been among the targets to replace him, though.
