Inter Milan could seize Parma’s interest in Sebastiano Esposito to materialize their long-term interest in Giovanni Leoni.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the 23-year-old could be a bargaining chip in a deal to sign the young gun.
Inter’s pursuit of Leoni has been on hold as the club focuses on acquiring the services of Ademola Lookman.
However, the Italian defender remains one of Inter’s priorities despite Parma’s mammoth €40 million valuation.

Parma’s asking price isn’t the only problem for Inter.
Indeed, Cristian Chivu’s men face fierce competition from AC Milan and Liverpool.
Both teams have shown genuine interest in Giovanni Leoni, casting doubt on Inter’s pursuit.
Yet, the Nerazzurri may have an ace up their sleeves.
It’s no other than Sebastiano Esposito.
Already deemed surplus to requirements, the ex-Empoli loanee will leave the club one way or another.
Though Inter are open to selling their fringe striker, they could use him as a makeweight in a deal to sign Leoni.
After all, Parma have already contacted the San Siro outfit to ask for information about Esposito.
