Galatasaray are ready to reignite their pursuit of Inter Milan goalkeeper Yann Sommer as their chase of Man City’s Ederson hits a snag.

This according to Turkish outlet Sozcu, via FCInterNews.

Galatasaray have reportedly been targeting Inter Milan keeper Yann Sommer.

The Turkish champions have been after the 36-year-old for several weeks.

However, in the meantime Galatasaray have also been working to try and sign Manchester City keeper Ederson. The Brazilian has become their priority target in goal.

However, Galatasaray have been struggling to agree a deal for Ederson.

The Istanbul giants have not managed to make an offer that has convinced City to sell the goalkeeper who they signed from Benfica in the summer of 2017.

Therefore, Galatasaray have been considering fallback options in the event that they are unable to sign Ederson.

And according to Turkish outlet Sozcu, one of Galatasaray’s main ideas would be to return to the table to try and sign Yann Sommer.

The Turks already have an informal agreement with the former Bayern Munich and Borussia Monchengladbach keeper from a few weeks ago, Sozcu report.

Therefore, Galatasaray must try to convince Inter with an offer for Sommer.
