Koni De Winter, Sam Beukema, Jhon Lucmi, and Giovanni Leoni are the four defenders at the top of Inter Milan’s summer shortlist.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.
Signing a defender will be one of Inter Milan’s major priorities for the summer transfer window.
The Nerazzurri are looking to finally set up a real succession plan in defense. Francesco Acerbi and Stefan de Vrij remain stalwarts for the Nerazzurri – but they turn 38 and 34 respectively next season.
Therefore, Inter are keen to add a younger defender who has a similar profile. Therefore, a defender with the physicality and marking ability to play in the centre of the back three.
Then, there is also the possibility that West Ham United target Yann Bisseck could leave the club.

According to Tuttosport, there are four defenders in particular who Inter are targeting for this summer.
Firstly, there is Genoa defender and reported Tottenham Hotspur target Koni De Winter. The Belgian has enjoyed an outstanding season for the Grifone.
Then, there are two Bologna defenders high on Inter’s list. These are Sam Beukema and Jhon Lucumi.
Meanwhile, Tuttosport report, Inter also remain big admirers of Giovanni Leoni.
The Nerazzurri missed out on the teenage defender’s signature last summer, as Parma completed a deal for him.
However, after a very impressive first season in Serie A from Leoni, Inter are once again targeting the 18-year-old.
