Inter Milan recently made an enquiry about signing Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos according to reports in Italy.
Santos joined Chelsea back in January 2023 from Brazilian side Vasco da Gama in a deal thought to be worth around £13m.
The midfielder spent last season on loan at sister club Strasbourg, where he excelled and scored ten goals in Ligue 1.
Todd Boehly has stated how he’s excited to see Santos in action, and the 21-year-old is reportedly set for a key role in the squad next season.

Questions have been asked about the future of Santos throughout the summer, but Chelsea have always insisted the Brazilian isn’t for sale.
However, that hasn’t stopped teams from trying, and according to Sport Italia Inter Milan recently made an enquiry about signing Santos.
The report states Inter Sporting director Piero Ausilio is an admirer of Santos, and the Brazilian’s name came up in conversation with super-agent Giuliano Bertolucci, when he met with the Italian club this week, with Chelsea’s asking price reportedly very high.
Midfield is arguably Chelsea’s strongest area of the squad with the likes of Moises Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez and Romeo Lavia.
The return of Santos makes the midfield even stronger, whilst the arrival of Dario Essugo gives the Blues a much needed back-up for Moises Caicedo.

Santos faces a tough task to become a first team regular, but he will certainly get opportunities next season, and it’s up to him to make the most of them and move his way up the pecking order.
The midfielder is thought to be competing with Lavia, although he’s shown he has an eye for goal, and can also play the box to box role.
