Chelsea are front-runners in the race to sign Bayern Munich star Leroy Sane on a free transfer this summer according to reports.
The Blues are set for another busy summer and could look to sell as many as seven or eight players in order to fund their business.
Chelsea face a critical window as they look to sign a striker, centre back and right footed attacker to strengthen Enzo Maresca’s squad.
Whilst a striker is the main priority the Blues are looking for a winger, and there’s set to be movement in the wide areas.
Noni Madueke is attracting interest from other clubs, whilst Chelsea are yet to take a final decision on making Jadon Sancho’s loan permanent.
The Blues have Estevao Willian arriving after the Club World Cup, whilst Geovany Quenda will arrive from Sporting Lisbon in 2026.

Chelsea have been most strongly linked with Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Gittens, however there’s another name they could be closing in on.
Football Insider haver reported the Blues are front-runners in the race to sign Sane on a free transfer from Bayern.
The report adds Arsenal are also in the race for the 29-year-old, and Chelsea are set to intensify their interest after wide spread reports they will send Sancho back to United.
Sane, who Chelsea has previously been linked with Chelsea won two Premier League titles with Manchester City, and it appears he could return to England this summer after rejecting multiple contract offers from Bayern.
Chelsea have other targets in the wide areas with Nico Williams described as a “dream” signing, whilst they are also interested in Morgan Rogers.
The issue with Williams would be his wages and it’s been reported the Athletic Bilbao star would want around £400,000 per week if he makes the switch to the Premier League this summer.

A stumbling block in the pursuit of Rogers is Aston Villa’s reported asking price of £90m for the England international.
The most important thing is Chelsea make a signing who comes in and improves the first team instantly and isn’t just another squad player.
