Lorenzo Lucca is a name heavily known by the footballing community, and AC Milan are taking a look at the striker after an impressive start to the season.
Some of the most iconic strikers in the history of football have been Italian, but in recent years there has been a lack of players to reach the same heights. The next, or perhaps current, generation of players coming through could change that.
Of course, Milan are involved in this picture, through Francesco Camarda and the academy product has begun to shine for the first team, even if his first goal is still waiting to happen. Before the 16-year-old, there was Lucca though, but he has struggled to hit heights imagined so far.
Coming through the ranks, the football community became aware of a 6ft7 attacker, who idolised Zlatan Ibrahimovic and took notice quickly, with many deeming him to be a wonderkid, but after a failed move to Ajax, the hype seemed to fade a little.
With Udinese though, he has become a diamond in a team that has regularly struggled, scoring six goals in Serie A so far this season. For this reason, Relevo (via Milan News) report that there are ‘several Italian clubs’ interested in the 24-year-old.
Milan, Napoli and Fiorentina are believed to be the most interested at the moment, but there have been no negotiations yet. Instead, a move in the summer is deemed most probable.
