An out-of-favour member of the attacking ranks at Real Sociedad is all set to link up with La Liga rivals Valencia this month.
That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who points towards Umar Sadiq as the player in question.
The name of frontman Sadiq has returned to the forefront of the headlines in Spain over the course of recent days.
This comes after confirmation was forthcoming that a new suitor, in the aforementioned Valencia, had emerged in the race for the wantaway Nigerian.
Sadiq has for his part endured a difficult campaign to date, afforded starts in just two of Real Sociedad’s La Liga fixtures.
Both club and player, in turn, spent the last 48 hours doing their part to ensure that a parting of ways will be on the cards before the month is out.
And, as alluded to above, such efforts look set to bear imminent fruit…
As per a report from Fabrizio Romano:
‘Medical today for Umar Sadiq as a new Valencia player, joining on loan with buy option clause from Real Sociedad.’
