Real Madrid to bring back iconic colour scheme for 2026/27 away kit | OneFootball

The 2025-26 season has not yet begun and Real Madrid have their preparations running in full flow for the campaign ahead.

Adidas, however, have already begun preparations for the team’s jersey for the 2026-27 season and rightfully so.

Designing a kit for a club of Real Madrid’s stature, after all, requires a real eye for detail, hand for intricacy and a creative mind that can bring out ideas through vibrant colours and bold designs.

While the home kit has traditionally remained white for Los Blancos, the away kit has provided designers with an open palate to put up bold designs.

A unique colour

Opaleak bring to light that Real Madrid’s 2026-27 away kit will be no different.

Adidas are reportedly set to hero the colour green in Real Madrid’s away kit for the 2026-27 campaign and it will be a dark olive tinged shade of the colour that features.

The plan is to bring a pattern inspired by the crest of the club for the jersey and the specific colour in use will be the Aurora Ivy shade. Notably, the jersey will be completed with the Trefoil logo instead of the traditional Adidas logo.

Green jerseys have not traditionally been worn by Real Madrid but that does not go to say that there is no history for Los Blancos with such a colour combination.

Most notably, a similar combination was donned by Cristiano Ronaldo and Co. in the 2012-13 season on the away kit.

Notably, a similar shade of green will also feature in a minor capacity in Real Madrid’s home kit for the 2026-27 campaign although that design too is yet to be clearly known.
