Ahead of the international break next month, Belgium manager Rudi Garcia has confirmed that Real Madrid superstar Thibaut Courtois will be back with the Red Devils.
Courtois has been out of the national team picture for a while now after he had a falling-out with former boss Domenico Tedesco.
The 32-year-old goalkeeper decided not to make himself available for selection until Tedesco was in charge of the team.
Soon after he was relieved of his duties, the doors for Courtois’ return were opened, with the Real Madrid shot-stopper himself confirming that he was ready to make a comeback.
Now, Rudi Garcia in an interview with L’Equipe (h/t Mundo Deportivo), has confirmed that he intends to call Courtois up for the next international break.

“He will return. This is excellent news for all of Belgium. I have always considered Thibaut the best goalkeeper in the world,” said Garcia.
“I visited him in Madrid before the Real Madrid-Manchester City match (3-1), where I also had the chance to meet Kevin De Bruyne and Jeremy Doku the day before the game,” he added.
Garcia, who was appointed as Belgium’s head coach less than a month ago, is preparing to announce his first squad list with the Red Devils set to face Ukraine in a UEFA Nations League double-header on March 20 and March 23.
And unless there are any last-minute twists, Courtois appears set to return to the Belgian national team ranks for those matches.
