A key member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid remains a doubt to feature in the fast-approaching Madrid Derby.
That’s according to Defensa Central, who point towards Eduardo Camavinga as the player in question.
Youngster Camavinga, for his part, this week returned to the grass, after a spell of over a month on the sidelines with a knee injury.
As much culminated in head coach Carlo Ancelotti confidently revealing his take that the France international would be at his disposal, for Sunday night’s showdown with city rivals Atlético Madrid.
If the latest word stemming from Valdebebas is anything to go by, however, then as much in fact remains in doubt.
Camavinga did take to the training pitch alongside the rest of Real’s squad on Friday morning.
However, he was only given the green light to complete part of the session, before returning to individualised work under the watch of the Blancos coaching staff.
The 21-year-old’s status for Sunday, as a result, is considered as still up in the air.
