Real Madrid star Brahim Díaz has this week seen an oft-overlooked element of his game hailed by his national team boss.
This comes fresh off the 25-year-old’s latest starring display for Morocco.
En route to a 7-0 drubbing of Lesotho on Monday night, Brahim rattled off a hat-trick, inside the opening 45 minutes of the clash.
This made it five goals in his last two appearances on the international front, after the ex-AC Milan also notched a brace against Gabon late last week.
Speaking to the media in the aftermath of his side’s latest outing, the subject of Brahim’s impact in his squad was in turn put to Morocco head coach Walid Regragui.
In his response, though, Regragui did not highlight the attacker’s goalscoring, or creative excellence.
Instead, the tactician pointed towards Brahim’s leadership as a standout element of his game:
“Brahim is a born technical leader. He is someone who knows how to find solutions.”
