Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has on Friday secured for himself a piece of international football history.
This comes owing to his latest appearance in the colours of England.
The Three Lions are currently locked in action, in a World Cup qualifying fixture against Albania.
As things stand, Thomas Tuchel’s troops lead by a goal to nil, owing to a strike on the part of Arsenal starlet Myles Lewis-Skelly.
Laying on the goal was the aforementioned Jude Bellingham, who conjured up a brilliant pass to slip his compatriot in behind the visitors’ backline.
It was not Bellingham’s latest assist which saw the Real Madrid man etch his name freshly into the history books, though.
Instead, as much comes owing simply to his latest appearance on the international stage.
As revealed by statisticians Opta:
‘Jude Bellingham is making his 41st appearance for England, overtaking Wayne Rooney’s record (40) for most games for the senior side while aged 21 or younger.’
