Real Madrid icon breaks Blancos hearts with social media update | OneFootball

Departing Real Madrid star Luka Modrić has on Monday left those of a Blancos persuasion nothing short of heartbroken.

This comes by way of an update to his official Instagram account.

Midfielder Modrić is of course fresh off taking to the pitch in the colours of Real Madrid for the very last time.

En route to Los Blancos being sent packing from the Club World Cup at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain, the 39-year-old was introduced off the bench during the 2nd-half.

His contract terms now officially up, Modrić, in turn, has made his way to Italy, to put pen to paper on terms with AC Milan.

And as alluded to above, earlier today, the Croatian veteran unveiled a social media update which many of a Real Madrid persuasion were seemingly not quite ready for.

This came by way of the removal of the Spanish heavyweights from his Instagram bio, to make room for the new header:
