La Liga giants Real Madrid were on Sunday afforded some altogether timely positive news on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation that Eduardo Camavinga has taken a significant step back towards the pitch.
Midfielder Camavinga has for his part been sidelined since back in April, owing to a muscular injury.
En route to a 1-0 La Liga downing of Getafe, the Frenchman pulled up with a groin concern, which was later confirmed to have brought a premature end to his 2024/25 campaign.
The initial assumption was that Camavinga would likely also be ruled out of the upcoming Club World Cup in the USA.
The last couple of weeks, however, saw it suggested that the 22-year-old’s recovery was progressing faster than expected.
And as alluded to above, on Sunday, as much has been confirmed.
As showcased in the footage below, Camavinga was back on the grass for an individualised training session earlier today:
Though he remains unlikely to be declared fit in time to face Al-Hilal on Wednesday, the midfielder, in turn, looks primed to be available for selection for at least some part of Real Madrid’s Club World Cup campaign.
