Real Madrid youngster Arda Güler is set to be afforded a place in the club’s starting XI for their upcoming showdown with arch rivals Barcelona.

That’s according to El Chiringuito TV, who have on Friday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Spain’s capital.

Real Madrid’s season is of course essentially on the line this weekend.

Amid ongoing efforts to hunt down Barcelona atop the La Liga table, Los Blancos will make the trip to Catalunya’s capital, for the final Clásico of the campaign.

Slip to defeat, and Real will kiss their hopes of retaining the club’s league title goodbye. Secure victory, on the other hand, and they will blow the title race wide open with three gameweeks remaining.

And as alluded to above, in efforts towards the latter, a major call has late this week been made.

As per a report from El Chiringuito TV, Carlo Ancelotti has come to the decision to reward Arda Güler’s recent excellence with a fresh start against Barcelona.

The Turk’s inclusion is expected to relegate Rodrygo to the bench.
