It is no secret that Real Madrid forward Rodrygo is attracting attention from top Premier League clubs, particularly Arsenal.
However, according to the recent information provided by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, although the Gunners admire the Brazilian attacker, there have been no negotiations between Arsenal and Real Madrid.
In fact, Romano clarified that the only realistic way Rodrygo could leave Madrid is if he himself informs the club of his desire to move on.
So far, that has not happened. The 24-year-old remains fully focused on his career at Real Madrid and is showing no signs of looking for a transfer.
One of the biggest reasons behind Rodrygo’s renewed motivation is his close bond with new manager Xabi Alonso.
The former midfielder is said to be deeply involved in Rodrygo’s day-to-day progress, constantly checking in on him and pushing him hard in training.

This consistent support and attention has had a noticeable effect, with Rodrygo responding positively to the extra challenge.
Sources close to the club suggest that Alonso’s presence has brought fresh energy to the dressing room, and Rodrygo is one of the biggest beneficiaries.
After a tough end to the 2024/25 season, the Brazilian now looks determined to bounce back and prove himself in Alonso’s project.
There has been speculation in the media suggesting that Rodrygo could be sold, but Romano’s latest update casts doubt on any immediate move.
Even if the player were to request a transfer, any club, Arsenal included, would need to come forward with a significant financial package, possibly exceeding €80-90 million, to even tempt Madrid.
For now, the situation is clear. Rodrygo is happy. he is working on regaining his form, and with Alonso by his side, he seems set to continue his journey in the Spanish capital.
