Three key members of the first-team setup at La Liga outfit Real Betis have been ruled out of the club’s upcoming meeting with Real Sociedad.

Manuel Pellegrini’s troops are set to mark their return to action on Sunday evening, in the penultimate outing of the club’s campaign.

The matchup is of an absolutely vital nature, when it comes to Betis’ goals for next season.

This comes with the 7th-placed Verdiblancos primed to play host to a Real Sociedad outfit who sit just one point, and one place clear of them in the table.

The eventual result tomorrow evening is therefore likely to play a decisive role in the battle for European football in La Liga.

In turn, it will no doubt come as a blow to all associated with Betis to hear that their side will be without three key performers in their efforts to carve out a positive result against La Real.

The trio in question? Isco, Guido Rodríguez, and Germán Pezzella.

Midfield pair Isco and Guido picked up respective injury problems in Thursday’s draw with Las Palmas, whilst defender Pezzella is suffering with a broken toe.

All three have therefore been omitted from Manuel Pellegrini’s latest matchday squad, as have Cédric Bakambu, Marc Bartra and Aitor Ruibal.

Both Chimy Ávila and Assane Diao, on the other hand, have returned.
