Real Betis star the subject of offer from RB Leipzig | OneFootball

A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga outfit Real Betis is the subject of mounting interest on the part of German club RB Leipzig.

That’s according to transfer insider Matteo Moretto, who points towards Jesús Rodríguez as the player in question.

Youngster Rodríguez is for his part fresh off something of a breakout campaign in his home country of Spain.

After bursting onto the first-team picture at the aforementioned Real Betis, the 19-year-old went on to rack up 21 La Liga appearances.

And the impressive level of Rodríguez’s performances on the left wing did not go at all unnoticed across the continent.

A whole host of clubs have been credited with an interest in the youngster, considered a potential attacking star in the making.

And as alluded to above, this week, one such club have have gone as far as to table an opening offer for Rodríguez.

As per a report from the aforementioned Matteo Moretto, citing information from Samuel Silva:

‘Leipzig has submitted an offer for Jesús Rodríguez from Betis. The German club is very interested in the young Spanish player and is willing to make an effort for him.’
