Real Betis enquire about another struggling Man United star after signing Antony | OneFootball

Real Betis have enquired about Manchester United defender Tyrell Malacia, according to journalist Dharmesh Sheth (via Sky Sports).

The La Liga club recently snapped up Antony on loan and may reunite the Brazilian with his former teammate.

Betis want to sign a new left-back before the end of the transfer window and have set their sights on Malacia and Rayo Vallecano’s Pep Chavarria.

Romain Perraud and Ricardo Rodriguez are Betis’ current left-back options. Manager Manuel Pellegrini is unhappy with both and wants to bolster the department.

The chances of Malacia joining Betis are low. They need to offload some players before making signings and are concerned about the Dutch defender’s fitness.

Malacia has recovered from a knee injury that kept him on the sidelines throughout last season. He has made seven appearances for United this term.
