The Denmark international, who joined the Eagles on loan from Leeds in summer 2024, has signed a long-term, permanent deal at Eintracht Frankfurt.
Rasmus Kristensen had already gained experience playing in Denmark, the Netherlands, Austria, Italy and England before moving to Frankfurt.
The 27-year-old quickly established himself as a first-team regular at Eintracht and has so far made 38 competitive appearances for the club this season, amassing over 3,000 minutes out on the pitch and contributing three goals and as many assists. Kristensen has now been rewarded with a contract valid until 2029 in Frankfurt. Board member for sport Markus Krösche: “In addition to his footballing quality, Rasmus also stands out with his great mentality. He has become a very important part of our team and we are delighted that he is staying with Eintracht in the long term.”
Rasmus Kristensen: “I’ve felt very comfortable in Frankfurt right from the off and my family has also settled in very well here. I fought hard to be able to play for Eintracht for longer and I want to repay the trust placed in me by continuing to perform well. I’m really looking forward to the last few games of the season and the future in Frankfurt.”
