The Light Blues had an offer rebuffed by the Yellows earlier this window. Despite previous reports of a £5m asking fee for the 21-year-old centre-forward, the club might demand more, particularly after the manager’s high praise for their prized asset.

The Israeli international joined Maccabi from the academy ranks of Ashdod and eventually secured a regular role at Bloomfield after spending the 2021-22 season out on loan with Beitar Tel Aviv Bat Yam.
