Rangers have more than one foot in the Champions League playoff round after their European hero Djeidi Gassama led them to a convincing 3-0 win over Viktoria Plzeň at Ibrox.
Scorers: Gassama 15',51', Dessers (pen) 45'
Having netted in both legs of the win over Panathinaikos, Gassama needed just 15 minutes to get on the scoresheet against the Czech side.
It came as a result of lovely link up play with Cyriel Dessers, with the winger slipping the ball into the striker before getting it back and curling home from inside the box.
Dessers got the second from the penalty spot on the stroke of half-time after Matěj Vydra was somewhat harshly adjudged to have taken down debutant Oliver Antman.
The game was over as a contest six minutes after the break, as Gassama got his fourth goal in as many games for his new club, heading into an empty net after excellent work from Max Aarons and Antman.
The dominant win served as the perfect response to both the disappointing Scottish Premiership opening day draw at Motherwell and Russell Martin's criticism of his new charges.
