With leaders Ajax out of action this weekend, PSV can close the gap at the top of the Eredivisie to four points with three games to go. They’re looking to record a 4th successive win in the league, something they have not managed since December. Peter Bosz was incredibly pleased with his side’s spirited 3-1 away win against Twente last time out and their title hopes, albeit faint, are still alive. As reported by ESPN, Bosz says, “I realise very well that if we still want to achieve something, we have to win. For me it is certainly not a side project”.
They will have to do without key forward Ismael Saibari following the knock he sustained against Twente, as well as the continued absences of Jerdy Schouten, Rick Karsdorp and Ricardo Pepi.
A tricky test awaits for them in EIndhoven, with Fortuna Sittard chasing the European competition play-offs. The visitors sit 9th in the league, four points off 8th placed Heerenveen with a game in hand. After notching his first goal in 2025, Ezequiel Bullaude will be looking to deliver another match-winning performance. The attacking midfielder, on loan from Feyenoord, scored the only goal in Sittard’s 1-0 win against Willem II.
Kick off is at 21:00 CET.
