PSV have set their sights on 17-year-old Abdul Daramy from FC Copenhagen, according to transfer expert Santi Aouna. The right winger is considered one of the brightest prospects at the club’s youth academy and is also attracting interest from French club Lille.
Abdul is the younger brother of former Ajax man Mohamed Daramy and currently plays for FC Copenhagen’s U19 team. The teenager impressed last season, where in 16 appearances, he scored three goals, and provided one assist.
With only one year left on his contract in Denmark, PSV and Lille are hoping to snatch him for a relatively low transfer fee.
Besides Aouna, the Danish media outlet Tipsbladet also reported the transfer news. PSV are reportedly “keen to get their hands on” the teenager. Like PSV, Lille also reportedly has a “great chance” of landing Daramy. The Eindhoven side reportedly has one advantage: the attacker can play in the Champions League with PSV, while Lille qualified for the Europa League last season.
