Paris Saint-Germain could be looking to bolster their left-back depth behind Nuno Mendes, with sporting advisor Luís Campos potentially turning to Belgium for a solution. A recent report from Mundo Deportivo suggests PSG has its eye on Maxim De Cuyper from Club Brugge.

The 23-year-old, whose contract runs through 2028, is seen as a good fit for Campos’ recruitment strategy. While AC Milan has also shown interest, PSG is reportedly preparing an attractive offer to bring De Cuyper to Paris. The left-back is valued at €12 million by Transfermarkt.

However, PSG may need to be patient if they see De Cuyper as a viable contender to challenge Mendes for the starting left-back spot.

On Monday, PSGINSIDE-ACTUS reported that Brugge have turned down a winter transfer for De Cuyper but is open to a move in the summer.

Last month, CaughtOffside reported that the 24-year-old’s strong performances have caught the attention of London rivals Arsenal, Tottenham, and Chelsea, with scouts from all three clubs recently watching him play.

Manchester City and Nottingham Forest are also said to be keeping an eye on him, though CaughtOffside mentions that their interest is still in the early stages.
