Manchester City full-back Kyle Walker has ruled out retirement after another historic campaign at the Etihad Stadium.

The 33-year-old marked his 300th Manchester City appearance by captaining the club to a historic fourth successive Premier League title last weekend, as the Englishman lifted his 17th trophy at the Etihad Stadium.

Walker, who moved to east Manchester from Tottenham in 2017, became a six-time Premier League winner on Sunday, after a 3-1 win over West Ham United secured an eighth league title for the club.

Manchester City can win a fourth trophy of the campaign this weekend, when they face Manchester United in the Emirates FA Cup Final at Wembley Stadium, with Pep Guardiola’s side having already won the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup alongside the Premier League.

Walker has featured in 44 matches for the Sky Blues this season, with the England full-back becoming first-team captain at the start of the campaign, after rejecting the chance to sign for Bayern Munich last summer.

The right-back, who is also set to go to Germany this summer for the European Championships with England, penned a new contract at the Etihad Stadium until 2026 in September, despite being 33-years-old.

The defender has played a crucial role in the Sky Blues’ success and despite being one of the oldest member’s of the first-team squad, Walker has vowed to contiune playing at the highest level for as long as possible.

“I feel young. I don’t know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. I feel young, I feel great, I still have my pace,” he told Sky Sports.

“I come to training every day wanting to learn. Once that goes then it is probably time to pack up but this group of lads keeps you on your toes. They keep on you to keep improving every day.”

Walker could be subject to fresh transfer offers this summer, with fellow senior squad members Kevin De Bruyne and goalkeeper Ederson also braced for approaches from the Saudi Pro League next month.
