Eintracht, unbeaten in the league in 2025, welcome promoted side Holstein Kiel to Deutsche Bank Park on Sunday.

  • Eintracht are unbeaten in six Bundesliga games since the turn of the year. If they avoid defeat again here, it would be their longest unbeaten run under head coach Dino Toppmöller.
  • In the 1-1 draw at Borussia Mönchengladbach last weekend, the Eagles scored for the 20th successive Bundesliga match.
  • Frankfurt are undefeated in their last 13 meetings with promoted teams in the German top flight. Their longest such run came between 2008 and 2012 with 15 encounters.

After promotion last season, Kiel are fighting for survival and are currently second from bottom on 13 points. The Storks are winless on the road so far, registering three draws and seven defeats in 10 away games.

Looking back

Eintracht won 4-2 in the reverse fixture on 29 September, thanks to an Omar Marmoush brace as well as goals from Igor Matanovic and Tuta.

Ekitiké in top form

Frankfurt boast the third-best attack in the Bundesliga with 46 goals and now come up against the weakest defence in the league. Kiel have conceded 54 goals after 21 matches, including at least two in all of their away outings so far.

Hoping to profit from that will be Hugo Ekitiké, who’s scored five goals in the last five league games. Only Bayern’s Harry Kane has found the net more often than the Frenchman in this calendar year. Staying on the subject of attack, winter signings Michy Batshuayi and Elye Wahi both made their debuts for Eintracht against Gladbach. The strike duo will now be hoping to make their first appearances at Deutsche Bank Park, where nothing less than three points will do for the Eagles.
