Burnley and Sheffield United face off this Monday at Turf Moor in EFL Championship. The match will be broadcast live at 17:30 on ITV 1.
The Clarets have 91 points to their name this season and sit second in the table after a 1-2 victory over Watford last time out.
The Blades, meanwhile, returned to winning ways after an untimely losing streak to with a 2-0 win against Cardiff City. Chris Wilder's side are currently third, five points back from Burnley on 86 points.
Joe Redmond (TurfCast): Burnley will be back in the Premier League with a win at Turf Moor against Sheffield United. While Leeds will (probably) be back in the Premier League if Burnley beat Sheffield United (if they beat Stoke, which they will).
However, for the Blades, Burnley are now the team to catch, so I fully expect them to come at us.
Sheffield United have to win this game to stand any chance of getting the top two. However - that could play into Burnley’s hands. I fully expect the Blades to come at Burnley and attack us and if we can withstand the first 20 minutes when I expect it to be all Blades, we should be OK.
If there’s one defence I can hang my hat on this season, it’s ours.
Theo Wilson (AllThingsBlades): After beating Cardiff following three losses in a row, Sheffield United now travel to Turf Moor in a must win game for the Blades.
With Burnley five points clear and with a significantly better goal difference anything but a United win would end their slim hopes of still reaching the automatics and consign them to the play offs.
The Blades finally got back to winning ways on Friday comfortably beating relegation threatened Cardiff 2-0 but will have to be at their very best if they want to beat Burnley.
I’m expecting another close game but I think the home side will just have that edge and come out narrow winners.
