Coach Thiago Motta and Michele Di Gregorio spoke to the press after Juventus’ 2-1 loss against Napoli on Matchday 22 of the Serie A season.

“I am disappointed with the defeat. We had a good first half, causing problems for our opponent by pressing well, in the second half the idea was to be effective in the first phase of pressing, and otherwise to regroup, defend well, recover the ball and go forward but we were not able to do that. We were not good at reacting and regaining control of the game. We absolutely have to do that in the next match.”

“We are disappointed with the result, we have to analyse the reasons for this loss but it is not easy to give a correct and complete explanation straight away. We will have to review the game as we always do and improve our game management after we go ahead. The first half was completely different from the second, so we are very disappointed. The only way we know to improve is to work hard daily in training.”
