Aston Villa want to keep Axel Disasi after his loan and have already started conversations with the player according to reports.
The Blues are once again set for a very busy summer and could look to fund their business by selling as many as seven or eight players.
Chelsea face a critical window with the club looking to sign a striker, centre back and right footed attacker to improve Enzo Maresca’s squad.
Whilst incomings are very important, the Blues need to sell several stars with a number of players simply surplus to requirements or wanting to move one.
Disasi, who arrived from Monaco in the summer of 2023 for around £39m falls into that category, with the Frenchman currently on loan at Villa.

The 27-year-old made the temporary switch to Unai Emery’s side in January and Foot Mercato have now provided an update on his future.
They report Villa want to keep Disasi and have already stated conversations with the player, and will soon make contact with Chelsea.
Foot Mercato add Villa staff have been impressed by Disasi’s mentality and dedication to training, whilst there’s also interest from other Premier League clubs.
The France international has made just ten appearances, and Disasi has cost Villa goals in vital moments in important matches this campaign.
Whilst the Blues are looking to move on the likes of Disasi and Renato Veiga they are also looking to bring another centre back in.
Chelsea had identified Dean Huijsen as their main target, but the 20-year-old is now closing in on a move to Real Madrid.
