Premier League victories over West Ham, Brentford, Leicester and Man U, plus of course that magnificent performance and triumph at Wembley against Liverpool. United now looking to make it six wins in a row.

So, what can we expect the Newcastle team v Crystal Palace to be?

On Tuesday morning, Jason Tindall giving an update on injuries and availability for this palace match, as Eddie Howe continues his recovery from pneumonia.

Tindall saying that Joe Willock is now available again after his concussion, whilst Eddie’s number two also confirmed no new injuries from the Man U match.

So as things appear to stand, only long-term absentees Lewis Hall, Sven Botman and Jamaal Lascelles will be definitely unavailable for this Palace match tonight.

So where does that leave us…

My predicted Newcastle team v Crystal Palace:

Pope, Trippier, Schar, Burn, Livramento, Tonali, Bruno, Joelinton, Gordon, Isak, Murphy

Just the one change from the starting eleven that started all of these last five wins in a row.

My one predicted change is Anthony Gordon in for Harvey Barnes.

I look at the subs Jason Tindall made on Sunday, once United went 4-1 up against Man U. With Bruno, Murphy, Isak, Joelinton and Trippier all looked after.

Harvey Barnes stayed on until the final whistle and I just have a feeling that there will be a rotation, with Barnes dropping to the bench and Anthony Gordon making his first start since Brighton in the FA Cup.

Not a case of Barnes getting dropped, simply a case of Tindall/Howe using their squad. I fully expect Barnes, if left out, to be playing at Villa on Saturday. With then very possibly, Murphy the one to get a rest with Gordon and Barnes the ones to face Emery’s side.

Newcastle don’t really have that dilemma in many other positions, not with injuries to Botman and Hall anyway. I would say for many people that pretty much, the team largely picks itself.

So unless he feels he has to rest others, or if there are hidden injuries, I can’t see Newcastle changing their back five or midfield, nor of course Isak.
