We take a look at how Leicester City may perhaps line up versus Brentford at King Power Stadium on Friday. Boss of the east Midlands side Ruud van Nistelrooy has a few big decisions to make including one or two huge calls in particular. The ex-interim Manchester United manager and one-time star Red Devils player has been urged to be braver and more attacking by certain observers. These suggestions are related to his LCFC selections and overall match strategy.
A couple of forward-thinking Foxes might well come into the Leicester starting XI. Basically van Nistelrooy only has a few rolls of the Premier League dice remaining. And it'd be better to go out with an electrifying bang as opposed to being relegated with a whimper along with a faux defensive structure. So how do we predict the Leicestershire team to start? And will the Dutchman amend these specific areas of his side?
'There are no easy games in the Premier League'. You'll have heard that phrase spoken numerous times over the years. And while it is a cliche saying - it is spot on.
Even Leicester's fixtures versus similarly placed struggling sides have been testing, especially this season. And 11th place Brentford are no different. In fact, the Bees are often underestimated in my view.
However, and as I wrote recently, City have to outwit and outdo clubs like the west Londoners if they are to survive the campaign. If not, relegation realistically looms before the term actually finishes.
